Geranium is a beautiful oil. It warms, soothes and calms. It grounds you and lifts you at the same time. And while there are a number of varieties and strains of this beautiful flower and each variety is different in scent. But there is an almost identical similarity in terms of composition, benefits, and uses.

Benefits:

Geranium benefits all skin types and conditions. This is because it balances sebum. It keeps the skin supple, soft and vibrant by increasing circulation. Reducing acne outbreaks and so tonifing the skin.

Geranium is generally seen as a women’s oil. It works to benefit the reproductive and endocrine systems. Inhale a couple of drops to relax and destress. It is said to regulate PMT and assist during menopause.  Helping to improve depression and mood.

 

Usage:

  • For a warm and relaxing Aroma, add a few drops to an oil burner or steam dispenser.
  • Try adding it to your bath by mixing a few drops with sea salts or some base oil.
  • Or simply Massage your Geranium essential oil into the skin, by blending it with a base oil such as sweet almond oil.

 

Mixes well with:

Lavender True, Frankincense, Sweet Orange, Lemon.
