Benefits:

Because of it bright and zingie fragrance, the aroma of Lemon essential oil is said to reduce stress hormones within the body and enhance mood, which is why it is used a lot in aromatherapy to help reduce anxiety and stress.

As a tonic, Lemon tonifies the blood. That means it increase the available energy of a bodily part or system. Likewise it also stimulates the immune system to produce more white blood cells, hence why it is so good at fighting of viral infections such as colds and flu.

Another benefit of Lemon essential oil is that it can help get rid of warts and boils and improve varicose veins. It lowers high blood pressure and slow down external bleeding. Therefore making this a fantastic oil for the circulatory system. It’s not surprising that it increases concentration and alertness.

Usage:

  • Inhale by adding a few drops to a bowl of steaming water, place a towel over your head and breathe.
  • For a warm and relaxing Aroma, add a few drops to an oil burner or steam dispenser.
  • Try adding it to your bath by mixing a few drops with sea salts or some base oil.
  • Or simply Massage your Lemon essential oil into the skin, by blending it with a base oil such as sweet almond oil.
  • Mix it with vinegar and water to create an everyday work top spray cleaner.

Lavender True, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Sweet Orange, Frankincense

Contraindications: 

Can be photo-toxic. Do not apply to skin before entering a sun bed or strong sunlight. Apply in low dilutions to the skin and always blend with a base oil as it may irritate. Not suitable for children under two years old.
